Our story
We started with one crew and one rule: the plan comes first.
Twenty-seven years later, every STRUKT project still begins with a fixed scope, a fixed price and a schedule we are willing to sign.
Founded in Manhattan in 1998, STRUKT grew from interior fit-outs into a full-service contractor delivering towers, campuses and private residences across the United States.
What has not changed is how we work: one accountable project lead, weekly reporting on cost, quality and safety, and no surprises at handover.

Plan before we pour.
Every scope is priced line by line and scheduled to the week before anything is signed. Most problems are cheaper to solve on paper.

One team, one owner.
A single project lead is accountable from pre-construction to handover, and reports on cost, quality and safety every week.
03 — Last
Build for decades.
We choose details and materials for the next owner, not the next inspection, and back every handover with a two-year warranty.

1998
Founded in New York
Alexandra Reed opens STRUKT with a crew of eleven, delivering office fit-outs in Midtown Manhattan.
2006
First ground-up commercial build
A 14-storey office in Brooklyn, handed over two weeks early. Commercial work becomes half of our book.
2012
Design–Build studio
In-house architects and engineers join the team, so clients get one contract from first sketch to final permit.
2017
ISO 9001 and 45001 certified
Quality and health-and-safety systems certified across every site, with weekly reporting built into each contract.
2021
Pre-construction group
A dedicated estimating and scheduling team launches, giving clients fixed numbers before they commit.
2024
One Meridian Tower and Harbor Civic Center
Our largest commercial tower in Austin and an 86,000 sq ft civic center in Seattle break ground in the same year.
2026
Seattle office opens
A permanent West Coast base to support a growing pipeline of civic and commercial work in the Pacific Northwest.
